Thanks for your reply to who will feed the children. I inherited some Big Oil stock, & I do donate to the local food bank (& other charities). But that's only a stopgap--what we need is quality education for all, so that all can rise to their full potential.

Care to be buddies?

I didn't expect anyone to take the exaggeration so literally so let me be more precise:

"...470 Million dollars a day..." which is conservative since the first quarter of 2013 was only a 6% increase from last year. http://www.exxonmobil.com/Corporate/Files/news_presentation_1q13.pdf

Fair enough.

I dont regret voting for my candidate in 2008 or 2012. How about you?

by YKnot05  Jun 14, 2013

I do, but the only stock I hold is in my 401K. Too volitile, although long term it is probably a reasonable investment.

Good thoughts on government regulated refineries. But no one ever talks about the idea. How do you think that the idea could get planted out there in politico-land to start the debate?

Hi Sneakers55's. First - congrats on 500+ consecutive days! Second - You posted on my whiteboard, "liberals and their massive addiction to transfer payments? Why work when you can get free food stamps and free Obamaphones?" Obviously it's impossible to have a discussion in this arena, but that's the big, horrendous example of addiction to transfer payments? That's more sad than laughable. But cheer up. You've got Rand Paul in training to be the next GOP presidential nominee.
